Denver DrumZ began back in late 90's, when JB Maroncelli, a local musician, elementary school band teacher, and single father of two children decided to open his own private lesson studio. Since that time JB has built Denver DrumZ up from teaching a handful of students in his living room, to teaching more than 20 students a week in his small music studio in Denver, CO.
In 2019, JB expanded Denver DrumZ from a small music studio into a full on musician's paradise. JB was joined by fellow musicians and music teachers Mark McKenna and Andy Metzger to build a space that provides music lessons, instrument sales, practice studios, and a venue for every kind of event or performance, under their new name: Denver DrumZ & Music
JB has been playing drums/percussion since he was 5 years old and has been teaching since he was a teenager. He taught as an elemtary school band teacher for DPS schools for over 10 years and helped grow the music program from about 20 students to 70-90 students each year. JB also has experience teaching jazz bands, School of Rock groups, band camps, and drum ensembles. After expanding his private music studio more and more, JB decided to move his music business, Denver DrumZ, to 420 Broadway under the name Denver DrumZ & Music
